How the bold text generator works
Instagram, X, Facebook and TikTok do not offer a rich-text editor, so you cannot normally bold or italicize a bio or post. This tool works around that with special Unicode characters that are shaped like bold, italic, bold-italic and monospace letters. Because they are ordinary characters, not formatting, they display correctly wherever you paste them, including the mobile apps. Type once and copy the style you want.
One important accessibility caveat
Use these styles sparingly. Screen readers struggle with Unicode styled characters and may read them out letter by letter, skip them, or announce them as unfamiliar symbols, which makes your text hard or impossible for some people to follow. Never set an entire caption or your whole bio in styled text. Use it to emphasize a single word or a short phrase, and keep the surrounding text in plain characters so everyone can read it.
