Social Media Image Resizer
Resize one image to every platform's dimensions, right in your browser. Free.
The right size for every platform
Each network crops to its own aspect ratio, so an image that looks great on one can get awkwardly chopped on another. This tool resizes to the standard sizes in one place: Instagram post 1080x1080, portrait 1080x1350, story or Reel 1080x1920, X post 1600x900, LinkedIn 1200x627, YouTube thumbnail 1280x720, Pinterest pin 1000x1500, and Facebook cover 820x312. Pick a size, choose crop or fit, and download.
Crop or fit, PNG or JPEG
Crop fills the frame and trims the overflow from the center, which is best when the subject sits in the middle. Fit keeps the whole image and pads the empty space with either white or a blurred copy of the image, which is handy for logos or product shots you cannot crop. Everything runs on a canvas in your browser, so your image is never uploaded to a server. Use PNG for graphics and text, and JPEG for photos where a smaller file matters.
Common questions
What size should an Instagram post be? 1080x1080 for square, 1080x1350 for portrait, and 1080x1920 for stories and Reels.
Is my image uploaded anywhere? No. All resizing happens locally in your browser, so nothing leaves your device.
Should I use crop or fit? Crop when the subject is centered, fit when you need to keep the whole image without cutting anything off.
